Oh my gosh, Patricia! I laughed so hard my shoulders were heaving. As I told the story to Jeff, I could hardly speak, and I had tears coming out of my eyes. Thanks for sharing this moment with us.

I remember laughing during mass whenever the priest would sing. His voice kind of cracked and sounded goofy, and my sister and I would choke back laughter. My mom would pinch us in a futile attempt to make us be quiet, but it didn't work. Ahhh, happy memories of childhood.

Thanks. Brings back so many memories. I have been laughing at my desk since I started reading your post, additional comments and Rob's similar comments. I've done the same thing while we are saying our family prayers at night. Some example I'm setting for my kids laughing while my wife is saying a prayer. God gave us a great gift in laughter!

I did the same thing once in a Bible study I was a part of in college. The leader said something slightly funny (don't really remember what it was -- probably had something to do with a bodily function) and then me and another guy looked at each other and started laughing. We couldn't stop for awhile and then started to calm down and the leader made this angry look at us that he intended use to make us stop, but he kinda looked like a monkey when he made the face. So...that made us start back up again laughing.

Whenever we'd quit, one of us would look at another with that monkey face and it would start back up again (I can't suppress a laugh even as I write this -- you had to be there). Anyway, we couldn't get anything accomplished so he told us to go home and grow up.

I eventually quit laughing, but I don't think I ever grew up. :)
