Our 10th Anniversary

Rob and MeToday is our 10th anniversary and we decided to stay at home tonight and watch the VT/Clemson football game, which just finished.

We’ve had our ups and downs. Marriage isn’t always easy. Ten years is a long time. We have several friends who are dealing with separations and divorces, who have been married the same amount of time. I don’t want us to become on of those statistics.

The happiest day in my life was the day Rob and I were married. And despite family drama (my family) during our engagment and our wedding day, standing at the altar and becoming Rob’s wife was the happiest moment of my life.

Rob surprised me this morning with a dozen red roses and a beautifully creative card. He also planned the day for us to go out for lunch at Cocoa Beach. I had a good day, even with the serious discussions we had at lunch.

We’re dealing with a lot of hard stuff right now that includes every aspect of life. Rob went all out for me today and I appreciated it. I didn’t deserve such great treatment. I didn’t go all out for him today.

So I just wanted to publicly say to my babe - I love you and Happy Anniversary!
