I’m cold, I’m cold, I’m cold
I think you get the point - I’m so COLD!!! Of course I’m always cold, but now I’m super cold! Obviously, my husband feels differently about our current weather.
I went out early this morning and it was 30 degrees. Now I’m back in my house and still so cold I bumped up the heat to 70. As I write, I’m sitting next to the only window where the sun comes in and it’s warming me up. But the rest of my house is cold.
I’m sorry for those up you who live up north, but this 7 year Florida girl is just not used to this anymore. After 6 months here I wasn’t used to the cold weather anymore. In fact, a couple nights ago I decided to clean the oven (self cleaning) because 1)it needed it and 2) I usually wait for a cold night because it warms up the house a little. Last night I made cookies because 1) Rob and I wanted them and 2) it warmed up the kitchen and our hang out area.
I remember when Rob and I lived in our first tiny one bedroom apartment. I would bake cookies on cold nights because it warmed up the ENTIRE tiny apartment! Yep, that’s how small it was.
I know our cold weather only lasts about 2 weeks. But when I’m cold, I’m cold. I think it’ll be back to the 80’s this weekend which is good timing for my mom who’ll be here visiting this weekend. And they live up north so it’ll be a nice treat for them.
I’ve decided to not complain so much about the HOT summers anymore - I’m ready for warmer weather too. Not so much for me, but I’m tired of trying to convince my girls to wear enough clothes that they won’t freeze!!

You pretty much described how I am when it’s cold. The baking cookies and everything. I can not stand cold weather and TX has cold weather too long. It was in the 70’s the past 2 days though and it changed my mood a ton! I have been so happy just because of the nice weather. Ok. I’m practically blogging on your blog!
So guess what? Not sure if you heard, but I’m engaged! I don’t think you ever met the guy which is sad. Anyway, we are getting married the end of June in Nashville Tn. Also I’ll be in Orlando on March 17th-21st. I hope you’ll be around and I get to see you. Ok, I’ll let you have your blog back…
